I haven't been a huge fan of the scale lately... I'm finding that the tape measure and the mirror are being kinder. Anyway last night I dragged myself to TRX and Zumba after a really long, stressy sorta day. TRX was the last place I wanted to be but I managed to put some of my attitude into my workout and I was finally able to do this!
Yes a suspended side plank with my hand over my head! And I was able to hold it the whole time. I have been hopeless at this move since I started going. Embarrassingly so.. to the point where the instructor has told me repeatedly not to push it or I'll hurt myself. Last night however we were all wondering where that extra energy came from!
So yes.. it's not much but for me it's a pretty big deal! Don't knock it til you try it!
