Weekend - Groove and Rest

Saturday morning I managed to get myself to Zumba despite being insanely sore! I did the 90 minute class which somehow stretched out to be 100 minutes with no real struggle. I think the loud music and fun factor of the whole thing made me forget about my achey muscles. However, as the day went on.. I was a hurtin unit!

This morning I was meant to go for a long run to get some decent miles in but I just couldn't do it. I haven't had a rest day this week and so I'm declaring that today is one! I also need to be careful not to call today a Cheat Day and eat whatever I want, which does happen on most rest days. I was a bit naughty in terms of food and drink last night so will spend today eating fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of water. Damage = minimal.

And tomorrow is Monday and the whole thing begins again!
