Alright so I've failed miserably when it comes to blogging about life in Japan and all my adventures or lack thereof since moving here a year ago. I do like having a bit of an outlet and so instead of writing about rice balls and sushi and sightseeing.. I figure I'll dedicate this blog to my new interest: getting insanely fit and healthy.
I do find it a bit frustrating to find healthy products and know what they are while living in Japan so this blog will cover a bit of that too, along with all the other aspects of trying not to be the biggest girl in Tokyo.
So here are the basic facts:
1. I'm 5'9 and have lost about 30 pounds/14kgs in the last year.
2. I would ideally like to lose that much again.
3. I've signed up for a 17.8 km race at the end of November and so I'm busy "training" for that event.
4. I joined a Fitness Studio and so also try to attend Zumba classes, TRX and/or Yoga 3-4 times a week.
5. I love snacks, especially cookies but am trying to stay sugar free and white flour free as much as possible.
6. I'm a bit cheesy when it comes to motivational quotes and posters so if that irks you.. you best leave me be.
7. I'm going to try to be as "real" as possible with this so brace yourself!
So here we go!
